Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy Advocates for Kamma Community at Global Summit
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy praised the Kamma community at the Kamma Global Summit in Hyderabad on Saturday, emphasizing his government’s commitment to resolving land disputes and promoting Hyderabad as a global city.
Addressing attendees, CM Revanth stated, “The Congress government rejects discrimination and is dedicated to resolving the land dispute concerning five acres allotted to the Kamma community. We stand ready to assist regardless of caste or creed.”
He urged the Kamma community to contribute to Hyderabad’s development into a global and cosmopolitan hub.
Speaking on Telugu leaders’ representation at the national level, CM Revanth highlighted, “Our absence on the national stage is noticeable. Telugu leaders excelling nationally should be encouraged irrespective of caste.”
Reflecting on the Kamma community’s significance, he remarked, “The term ‘Kamma’ embodies qualities of hard work and nurturing like a mother. They are ubiquitous in fertile lands, known for diligence and aiding others. I hold great respect and affection for the Kamma community.”
The summit underscored mutual respect and collaboration between the government and the Kamma community towards inclusive growth.
