Rajasthan Government Announces Major Administrative Reshuffle, Transfers 108 IAS Officers
In a significant administrative shake-up, the Rajasthan government has transferred 108 IAS officers, including Tina Dabi, who has been moved from her position as Commissioner of the Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS) in Jaipur to the role of Collector of Barmer District. The Department of Personnel issued the order on Thursday night, marking a substantial reorganization within the state’s administrative structure.
The reshuffle involves the transfer of 96 officers, with 10 additional IAS officers receiving new assignments who were previously awaiting posting orders. Notably, Tina Dabi, a 2016 batch IAS officer, takes over as the Collector of Barmer after her tenure as the Commissioner of EGS and prior service as the Collector of Jaisalmer.
However, some key positions remain unchanged. Akhil Arora, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, and Anand Kumar, the Principal Secretary of the Home Department, will continue in their respective roles. Arora, who has held the position of Additional Chief Secretary in the finance department during the Congress administration, and Kumar, who has been with the Home Department since 2022, will maintain their current responsibilities.
The reshuffle also includes changes in the leadership of various district and divisional posts. The divisional commissioners of Jaipur and Banswara, along with the collectors of 13 districts, including Jaipur, have been transferred, reflecting a comprehensive overhaul aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency across the state.
