Rakul Preet Singh Reveals She Was Replaced in Prabhas Film Before Her Debut
Rakul Preet Singh, a prominent actress known for her work across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, recently shared a candid account of her early career in a viral interview. Among the revelations, Rakul disclosed that she was unexpectedly replaced in a film starring Prabhas, without prior notice.
Reflecting on her acting journey, Rakul Preet recounted being replaced after shooting for just four days on a Telugu film featuring Prabhas, well before her debut in Venkatadri Express (2013). She described her reaction to the incident, noting her naivety at the time. “I was replaced from a film after shooting for four days, before I made my debut. This was a Telugu film with Prabhas. But sometimes, when you don’t know much about the industry or its way of functioning, you don’t take it to your heart. There is a beauty in innocence and naivety. I was so naive, I thought, ‘Oh, ok they have removed me? No problem, maybe this wasn’t meant for me, I will do something else,’” she said.
Rakul Preet Singh’s career took off with her performance in Venkatadri Express in 2013. Prior to that, she appeared in the Telugu film Keratam (2011). While Rakul did not specify which Prabhas film she was initially cast in, it could have been Mr. Perfect, Darling, or Rebel.
