Nadda Accuses Opposition of Corruption While Highlighting BJP’s Achievements in Jammu
Jammu: BJP president J.P. Nadda asserted on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA have significantly advanced the nation’s progress, while accusing the opposition bloc INDIA of fostering corruption and supporting anti-national forces. Speaking at a function in Jammu, Nadda criticized the Congress, National Conference (NC), and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for their alleged injustices towards the region and for obstructing its development.
Nadda emphasized the stability brought to Jammu since the BJP took power, contrasting it with the frequent shutdowns the region faced before 2014. He described the NC-Congress alliance as a “political pact” between families disconnected from the people’s needs. Nadda pointed to several key initiatives following the abrogation of Article 370, including the establishment of institutions like AIIMS and IIT in Jammu, as evidence of the BJP’s commitment to development.
He expressed concern over the opposition’s proposals, alleging that they seek to release terrorists and promote cross-border trade. Nadda urged the people of Jammu to support the BJP in upcoming elections, asserting that the party’s initiatives have restored pride and fostered growth in the region. He concluded by highlighting ongoing infrastructure projects and social welfare measures aimed at historically marginalized communities, reiterating the BJP’s vision for a prosperous Jammu.
