Omar Abdullah Set to Assume Office as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar: In a historic moment for Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), Omar Abdullah is set to take the oath as Chief Minister of the Union Territory on Wednesday, October 16. This marks his second term as chief of J&K, following the bifurcation of the state. Notable leaders from the INDIA Bloc, including Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, are expected to attend the ceremony.
Abdullah, the Vice-President of the National Conference (NC), expressed optimism about the mandate received from the people.
