RSS Promotes Social Harmony and Grassroots Engagement in Recent Meeting

In a strategic push for social cohesion, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has directed its pracharaks (volunteers) to advance the agenda of social harmony within Hindu society at the grassroots level. This directive was issued during the All India Executive Board meeting held on October 25-26 at the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gau Vigyan Research and Training Centre in Parkham village, Mathura.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat outlined ambitious targets for the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of spreading the Sangh’s message to every household. Alongside Bhagwat, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale emphasized the need for pracharaks to implement the “Panch Parivartan” initiative, which focuses on five key areas: family enlightenment, environmental protection, indigenous lifestyles, social harmony, and civic duty.

Sources from the RSS indicated that all office bearers were instructed to take this message to villages and towns, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to these principles among the community. The emphasis on grassroots outreach is seen as critical in achieving the organizational goals set for the centenary year, culminating in the 100th foundation day celebration scheduled for Vijayadashami in 2025.

During the meeting, a total of 386 RSS office bearers participated, engaging in discussions about past achievements and future strategies. Bhagwat personally interacted with various groups to gain insights into their work and provide guidance moving forward.

Additionally, a training camp for pracharaks affiliated with various RSS organizations is set to take place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, from October 31 to November 4. This camp will host 554 pracharaks from 31 different organizations, with senior RSS officials slated to lead the training sessions.

This concerted effort by the RSS highlights its ongoing commitment to fostering social unity and reinforcing its influence across communities in India.
