Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Rise Across Major Indian Cities
The cost of commercial LPG cylinders has seen a notable increase in major Indian cities as of November 1, following a recent announcement by oil marketing companies.
In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has risen by Rs 62, bringing the new total to Rs 1,802, up from Rs 1,740. This increase follows a previous adjustment on October 1, when prices rose by Rs 48.50. Over the past few months, the price hikes have been consistent, with increases of Rs 39 in September and Rs 8.50 in August. This latest adjustment marks the fourth consecutive monthly increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders.
Other metropolitan areas have also experienced similar price increases:
- Mumbai: Now priced at Rs 1,754.50
- Chennai: Now priced at Rs 1,964.50
- Kolkata: Now priced at Rs 1,911.50
In contrast, Hyderabad has maintained the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder at Rs 1,967, despite the price adjustments seen in other major cities. This stability in prices reflects the unique market conditions in Telangana’s capital.
As the cost of essential commodities continues to rise, the implications for businesses reliant on commercial LPG will be closely monitored in the coming months.
