KTR Criticizes Revanth Reddy’s Government, Vows to Restore Telangana’s Legacy in Four Years
BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has expressed confidence that Telangana will regain its rightful place in four years, amidst growing criticisms of current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s administration. Speaking at a press meet at Telangana Bhavan, KTR strongly defended the “Telangana Thalli” statue, a symbol of the state’s cultural and historical significance, which was conceptualized by former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
KTR emphasized the importance of maintaining the Telangana Thalli statue, which he believes must remain unaltered regardless of political changes. He drew a comparison to national symbols, noting that icons like Bharat Mata, introduced by Indira Gandhi, were never changed despite transitions in power. He warned that any attempts to change or erase the Telangana Thalli statue due to political rivalry would be condemned by history.
Addressing the current administration, KTR criticized their focus on divisive politics, particularly highlighting the delay in addressing critical issues like the Ambedkar Secretariat and Police Command Control Room. He urged the Revanth Reddy government to prioritize governance and development rather than altering symbols of Telangana’s legacy.
Concluding his remarks, KTR reaffirmed the BRS party’s commitment to preserving the state’s heritage and cultural identity, vowing to restore the state to its rightful position within four years.
