Mohan Babu Issues Apology to TV9 Management Following Incident Involving Media Representative
Actor Mohan Babu has issued a formal written apology to the management of TV9 following an incident that involved an alleged attack on a media representative. In a letter addressed to the TV9 team, the actor expressed his regret for the distress caused to the media outlet and its journalists due to the unfortunate incident involving his family.
Mohan Babu explained that he could not respond promptly as he was hospitalized for 48 hours after the incident. He described the tense situation in which around 30 individuals broke the gate and rushed inside, leading him to act out of concern for his safety, fearing potential threats from anti-social elements.
In his apology, he expressed deep remorse for the injury sustained by the journalist during the incident. “I wholeheartedly apologize to the TV9 team and journalist Ranjith’s family for the inconvenience caused by my actions. I deeply regret the emotional distress caused to you and your family,” Mohan Babu wrote.
Meanwhile, the authorities have already registered a case against the actor under Section 118(1) BNS. Following legal consultation, Pahadi Shareef police added charges of attempted murder under Section 109 on Thursday.
