Telangana MLA’s Remarks on Allu Arjun Spark Political Controversy, BJP Vice President Responds
The recent controversy surrounding the Sandhya Theatre incident has taken a political turn, with Telangana Congress MLA Bhupathi Reddy making provocative remarks against actor Allu Arjun. These comments have drawn sharp criticism from Andhra Pradesh BJP Vice President Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, who took to social media to express his disapproval.
In a public statement, Bhupathi Reddy questioned Allu Arjun’s presence in Telangana, stating, “You are from Andhra. Behave like an Andhra person here. You came here to earn a living. I am speaking as a ruling party MLA. Conduct your business respectfully, maintaining the honor extended to you. But if you speak against our Chief Minister, we will not tolerate it. Beware!”
Vishnu Vardhan Reddy responded to Reddy’s comments by sharing the video of the remarks on social media. He condemned the statement and posed a question to Telangana Congress leaders, tweeting, “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy garu, do Andhra Pradesh residents need a special visa to live in Telangana? Even after 11 years, why are such inflammatory remarks being made? Is this the culture of your Congress party? Immediate action must be taken against your MLA, or the people of Telangana will not forgive your party.”
The exchange has sparked a heated debate, raising questions about regional tensions and the role of political leaders in escalating issues. While Bhupathi Reddy’s comments were directed at Allu Arjun, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy’s response highlights the growing friction between political leaders from different states, with both sides calling for accountability and action.
