K.T. Rama Rao Targets Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Family Over Unconstitutional Practices

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a strong critique of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his family, accusing them of fostering unconstitutional governance in the state. KTR specifically targeted Revanth Reddy’s brother, Tirupati Reddy, questioning his role in official government programs despite not holding any elected office.

“How is Tirupati Reddy allowed to participate in official government functions in place of an elected MLA? On what basis is he distributing Kalyana Lakshmi scheme cheques?” KTR asked during his attack on the current administration’s practices. He accused Tirupati Reddy of acting with the authority of the Chief Minister, despite never winning even a ward member position.

KTR went on to claim that such irregularities were the result of what he called “Revanth Reddy’s anarchic rule” in Telangana, describing a governance system where established protocols were blatantly ignored. He pointed out that Tirupati Reddy had been traveling with two convoys and armed security personnel, an act he deemed as an abuse of power.

Challenging the legitimacy of Tirupati Reddy’s involvement in government matters, KTR suggested that if the Kodangal constituency requires new leadership, fresh elections should be held. He further questioned the Congress party’s internal situation, wondering if national leader Rahul Gandhi was aware of these ongoing incidents in Telangana.

“This family rule and unconstitutional practices reflect the failure of governance,” KTR stated, accusing the current administration of mismanagement and lack of accountability. His remarks have stirred a political debate, highlighting the ongoing tensions within the state’s political landscape.
