Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal Reunite for ‘Akhanda 2’ – ‘Thandavam’ Set for Grand Release
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal, who delivered a memorable performance together in the blockbuster Akhanda, are reuniting for the much-awaited sequel titled Akhanda 2: Thandavam. The film, which was launched last year, marks an exciting continuation of the popular Akhanda franchise. The makers kicked off the film’s shoot during the auspicious Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, capturing the true essence of faith and devotion for its backdrop.
With Balakrishna’s recent success with Daaku Maharaaj, expectations for Akhanda 2 have soared. The first installment of Akhanda was a massive hit, and the sequel promises to bring even more unique and thrilling elements to the story, much to the excitement of fans.

Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, Akhanda 2: Thandavam boasts a stellar technical team. Thaman, known for his chart-topping music, is scoring the film’s soundtrack. C Ram Prasad serves as the cinematographer, while AS Prakash handles the art direction.
