Telangana to Present Caste Census Report in Special Assembly Session
The Telangana state cabinet is set to convene on February 5 to discuss key issues concerning the caste census and the categorization of Scheduled Castes (SC). The meeting will be a crucial step in addressing these matters before presenting the caste census report in the state assembly.
According to Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, the report will first be reviewed by the cabinet sub-committee, which held a meeting under his chairmanship to deliberate on the findings. Following the sub-committee’s review, the full cabinet will assess the report before it is formally presented in the upcoming special session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, scheduled for February 5.
