Ludhiana Court Issues Non-Bailable Arrest Warrant Against Sonu Sood
A court in Ludhiana, Punjab, has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood for failing to appear as a witness in a fraud case. The case involves Rajesh Khanna, a lawyer from Ludhiana, who filed a lawsuit against Mohit Sharma, accusing him of defrauding ₹10 lakh under the pretense of investing in a scheme called “Rizika Coin.” Sonu Sood was named as a witness in the case.
Despite receiving multiple summons from the court, Sonu Sood failed to appear for testimony. As a result, Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur has issued the non-bailable arrest warrant against him. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 10.
