KTR Accuses BJP of Shielding Revanth Reddy Amid Financial Scams
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of protecting Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, despite allegations of financial misappropriations involving central funds. KTR pointed out that, despite evidence submitted by BRS regarding alleged scams, including those related to Amrit tenders and the Civil Supplies scam, the BJP has taken no action against Revanth Reddy.
KTR highlighted the BJP’s quick response to the Kaleshwaram project incident but criticized the central government for failing to act on other recent issues such as the Sunkisala and SLBC mishaps. He suggested that the BJP’s lack of action against Revanth Reddy indicated a possible political agreement between the two parties. “The BJP protecting Revanth Reddy has become a million-dollar question,” KTR remarked.
He further speculated that Revanth Reddy might have promised the BJP his allegiance at the right time, explaining why the central government is shielding him from any consequences.
