Jr NTR’s Devara Set for Release in Japan; Actor Looks to Expand Popularity
Jr NTR, who gained immense popularity in Japan with the blockbuster success of RRR, is now aiming to further solidify his fanbase in the country with his upcoming film Devara Part 1. Following the massive success of RRR in Japan, where it became the highest-grossing Indian film, NTR is set to release Devara’s Japanese version on March 28, 2025.
To promote the film, Jr NTR is making a special visit to Japan on March 22. His promotional efforts have already begun, as he has been giving interviews to Japanese media to generate excitement for the release. With Devara having been a box-office hit in India since its release on September 27, 2024, the actor is hopeful that the film will replicate that success in Japan as well.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara stars Jr NTR alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Sai Ali Khan in pivotal roles. As the film’s Japanese release approaches, all eyes are on whether NTR’s star power can repeat the same level of success that RRR achieved.
On the professional front, Jr NTR has several projects lined up, including War 2, NTRNeel, and Devara 2. With War 2 slated for release later this year and NTRNeel already in production, the actor’s future in both Indian and international cinema looks incredibly promising.
