Sivaji Thrilled by Chiranjeevi’s Appreciation for His Performance in ‘Court – State Vs A Nobody’
Actor Sivaji, who made a triumphant return to the silver screen after a 13-year hiatus with director Ram Jagadish’s courtroom drama Court – State Vs A Nobody, was overjoyed to receive praise from none other than superstar Chiranjeevi for his performance in the film.
Sivaji took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement and posted pictures of himself with Chiranjeevi. He wrote, “This moment will be etched in my heart forever! My dearest annayya @KChiruTweets garu watched our #CourtTelugu and expressed his immense appreciation to this Mangapathi & whole team. Words can’t describe this happiness! Love you Annayya.”
The actor, who had been away from films for over a decade, expressed his deep gratitude for Chiranjeevi’s kind words. Sivaji also reflected on how his 25-year-long dream of portraying a character like Mangapathi in Court had finally come true. The powerful role in the courtroom drama marked a significant milestone in his career.
Earlier, Sivaji had shared in an interview that landing this character had been a long-held dream. “The character of a man in court was my 25-year dream. I am very happy to have got this opportunity through Nani,” he said, referring to actor-producer Nani, who presented the film under his banner, Wall Poster Cinema.
Sivaji further revealed that when he asked the director, Ram Jagadish, about why he chose him for the role, the director simply stated that he had selected the “perfect actor” for the part. “I feel this character was made for me,” Sivaji shared, adding that he felt as though the director had drawn inspiration from real-life experiences to craft the character.
The film, which opened to positive reviews, has proven to be a major success. It features Priyadarshi in the lead role, with Prashanthi Tipirneni as the producer and Deepthi Ganta as the co-producer. Court – State Vs A Nobody has garnered significant praise for its gripping storyline and stellar performances, particularly Sivaji’s portrayal of Mangapathi.
