Mumbai: Mohanlal Invites Shah Rukh Khan to Dance to ‘Zinda Banda’ Over a Meal
Malayalam megastar Mohanlal extended an invitation to Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday, suggesting they dance to the song ‘Zinda Banda’ from the hit film ‘Jawan’ over a meal—from dinner to breakfast.
SRK responded by sharing a video on his social media account, originally from an award ceremony, showcasing Mohanlal’s performance to ‘Zinda Banda’. In his post, SRK expressed his excitement about dining with the esteemed actor, stating, “Thank you @Mohanlal sir for making this song even more special for me. I wish I had performed it half as well as you. Looking forward to our dinner at home soon. You are the original Zinda Banda.”
In a gracious reply, Mohanlal wrote, “Dear @iamsrk, no one can perform it quite like you! You will always be the original Zinda Banda in your unique and unparalleled style. Thank you for your kind words. And just dinner? Why not dance to some Zinda Banda over breakfast as well?”
