YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy Suspends MLC Duvvada Srinivas for Indiscipline

In a decisive move, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has suspended MLC Duvvada Srinivas from the party, following allegations of serious indiscipline. The suspension was confirmed through an official statement issued by the party’s central office.
According to the statement, the decision came after the party received multiple complaints regarding Srinivas’s conduct. The matter was reviewed by the YSRCP’s disciplinary committee, which recommended strict action. Acting on their advice, Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered his immediate suspension.
Duvvada Srinivas has been at the center of several controversies over the past year. He came under scrutiny for his alleged close association with Divvela Madhuri, made contentious remarks against actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, and more recently, was accused of threatening an assistant engineer from the electricity department during a phone call.
The YSRCP’s action signals a strong message that breaches of discipline will not be tolerated within the party ranks, regardless of position or influence.
In a related political development, Jagan Mohan Reddy also made significant organizational appointments. Former minister Gudivada Amarnath has been appointed as the YSRCP president for Anakapalli district, while K. K. Raju has been named the party president for Visakhapatnam district. These changes were also announced through an official press release from the party headquarters.
The party leadership’s swift actions underscore a broader strategy to reinforce discipline and reorganize its structure ahead of key political battles.
