Pawan Kalyan Commends Minister Anitha’s Compassionate Response in Simhachalam Tragedy
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has lauded the swift and empathetic actions of Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha in the wake of the tragic incident at the Simhadri Appanna temple, where a wall collapse during the Chandanotsavam festival claimed seven lives. Calling her response “commendable,” Pawan Kalyan said her conduct exemplifies the ideal role of a public servant in times of crisis.
The Deputy Chief Minister took to social media platform ‘X’ to highlight Anitha’s proactive involvement, stating, “Those in public life must not only respond swiftly at any time but must also extend solace to those in mourning. Minister Anitha has been responding in exactly that manner.”
According to Pawan Kalyan, Minister Anitha rushed to the Simhachalam site at 3:00 a.m. following the incident, personally overseeing rescue operations and coordinating with officials. She later met with grieving families, offering emotional support and assuring them of full government assistance.
Pawan Kalyan also acknowledged Anitha’s recent humanitarian gesture during the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, where she provided support to the family of Chandramouli, one of the victims.
He emphasized that such acts of compassion and immediate engagement should serve as a model for how a coalition government can respond effectively and humanely during tragedies.
