In a heartfelt gesture of respect and solidarity, popular actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has stepped forward to support the family of Telugu soldier Murali Nayak, who was recently martyred during Operation Sindoor in Jammu and Kashmir.
Demonstrating his deep appreciation for the sacrifice made by the brave jawan, Balakrishna has announced that he will donate one month’s salary to Murali Nayak’s grieving family. He has also arranged for his personal secretaries to visit Kallitanda, the martyr’s hometown in Gorantla Mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district, on Monday, the 12th, to offer condolences in person and deliver the pledged financial assistance.
Murali Nayak’s mortal remains were brought back to his native village yesterday evening, where a somber crowd gathered to pay their last respects. Earlier in the day, Andhra Pradesh Minister S. Savitha paid floral tributes to the late soldier at Bengaluru Airport, where the coffin arrived with full military honors.
Balakrishna’s gesture has been widely appreciated by the public and fellow politicians, highlighting the importance of standing by the families of those who lay down their lives for the nation.
