According to official sources, Alapati Suresh, a prominent figure from the Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC), has been named the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Press Academy. Alongside him, Rayapati Shailaja, also from the JAC, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission—signaling the government’s intent to include civic voices in institutional leadership.
