Tollywood actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has found himself at the center of a legal controversy after being booked by the Jubilee Hills police for violating traffic rules and allegedly misbehaving with a police officer.
The incident occurred in the upscale Journalist Colony area of Jubilee Hills, where the actor was reportedly caught driving his vehicle on the wrong side of the road. A video of the incident, showing Sreenivas taking the incorrect route, quickly circulated on social media, sparking widespread discussion.
According to the police, a traffic constable on duty flagged down the actor and attempted to address the violation. However, Sreenivas allegedly reacted in a discourteous manner and left the scene without offering an explanation or cooperating with authorities.
Following the incident, the Jubilee Hills police registered a formal case under applicable traffic and conduct laws.
