On the occasion of his birthday, actor Ram Pothineni delighted fans by unveiling the title of his much-anticipated 22nd film, Andhra King Taluka. The announcement came with an intriguing title glimpse that has already sparked excitement across social media.
Helmed by director P. Mahesh Babu, the film is being produced by the acclaimed Mythri Movie Makers. Touted as a fan-based biopic, the story centers on the journey of a devoted cinephile named Sagar, portrayed by Ram himself.
In the title reveal video, a gripping scene unfolds at a theater ticket counter where a man is busy distributing VIP passes. Enter Ram Pothineni’s character, who boldly requests 50 tickets. When asked for whom, his one-word response—“Fans”—delivers a punch that resonates deeply with cinegoers, instantly becoming a viral moment.
The makers described the film as a heartfelt tribute to cinema lovers, stating:
“Fans worship cinema, but this film worships the fans,”
as shared in a post by the production house on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Bhagyashri Borse joins the cast as the female lead, while Kannada superstar Upendra will be seen in a pivotal role as a character named Surya Kumar, a fictional superstar within the film’s narrative. The ensemble cast also includes Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh in significant supporting roles.
