Superstar NTR Jr., affectionately known as the ‘Man of the Masses’, is riding a wave of excitement as fans across the country explode with praise for the teaser of his upcoming film, War 2. The actor, whose presence ignites every screen he graces, shared that this role isn’t just another character—it’s one that holds a deep personal connection.
Overflowing with gratitude, the 42-year-old actor said, “Being an actor comes with rare gifts, and one of the most precious is the unconditional love from fans. What I’m experiencing with War 2 is truly overwhelming.”
The film, a part of Yash Raj Films’ celebrated Spy Universe, casts NTR Jr. in a completely fresh and electrifying role that he says was a blast to portray. “This is a version of me audiences haven’t seen before,” he said. “It’s a thrilling new avatar, and I’m thrilled that people are embracing it with such enthusiasm.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 also stars Kiara Advani and is poised to be a high-octane cinematic spectacle. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 14 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
