As the countdown begins for one of India’s most prestigious examinations, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2025 is all set to take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Candidates across the nation are gearing up for this competitive gateway to coveted roles like IAS, IPS, and IFS.
The Prelims will be held in two shifts:
- Morning Session: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon Session: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
To ensure a smooth entry, candidates must arrive at their examination centre at least 30 minutes early. Late arrivals will not be allowed to sit for the exam under any circumstances.
Documents to Carry:

- UPSC Admit Card: Entry is strictly prohibited without it.
- Valid Photo ID Proof: Ensure the ID details match those on your admit card.
- Passport Size Photograph: Carry one if your admit card photo is unclear.
