Apple Inc. is strengthening its presence in India with the launch of its third flagship retail store, this time in Bengaluru — the tech capital of the country. The new store is set to open in Phoenix Mall of Asia, located in Hebbal, further expanding Apple’s direct-to-consumer retail strategy in one of its fastest-growing markets.
Spanning an impressive 8,000 square feet on the first floor, the Bengaluru store marks another step in Apple’s ambitious retail rollout, following the successful debuts of its Mumbai and Delhi locations. According to insider reports, Apple has signed a 10-year lease for the space, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to India’s burgeoning tech and consumer market.
The Bengaluru store is expected to mirror the sleek, modern design of the Delhi outlet and will offer the full suite of Apple products and services — from iPhones and MacBooks to hands-on customer support via its signature Genius Bar.
This expansion aligns with recent comments from Apple CEO Tim Cook, who emphasized India’s critical role in the company’s global vision. “India presents a major opportunity,” Cook stated, hinting at plans to launch four more Apple Stores across the country in the near future.
India has emerged not only as a key sales market for Apple but also as a vital production and innovation hub. With increasing local manufacturing and growing consumer demand, Apple is positioning itself to deepen its roots in the Indian ecosystem.
As anticipation builds, the Bengaluru store is expected to open its doors in the coming months, solidifying Apple’s presence in South India and bringing its iconic retail experience to yet another major metro.
