Errol Musk, father of tech billionaire Elon Musk and Global Advisor to Servotech Power Systems Ltd, arrived in India on Sunday for a high-profile visit aimed at strengthening the country’s green technology and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure landscape.
During his visit, Musk will tour Servotech’s advanced manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, and participate in several strategic engagements — including a cultural visit to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and a keynote speech at the India–Global Green Tech Vision Forum 2025 in New Delhi.
According to the company, Musk’s visit marks a significant step in Servotech’s mission to accelerate India’s leadership in clean energy and EV technology. His presence also reflects growing international recognition of India’s rapid progress toward a greener, more sustainable future.
“We are incredibly honored to welcome Errol Musk to India,” said Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd. “His global experience and forward-looking perspective as our advisor will be instrumental in positioning India as a global hub for green tech innovation and EV charging exports. This visit is another step forward in our vision of ‘Keeping Bharat Ahead’.”
As part of his itinerary, Musk will deliver the keynote address at the India–Global Green Tech Vision Forum, where he is expected to engage with policymakers, investors, business leaders, and senior bureaucrats on India’s strategic direction in green innovation.
At Servotech’s Sonipat plant, Musk will receive an inside look at the company’s cutting-edge production of EV chargers, solar energy solutions, and other clean tech products aligned with the Make in India initiative.
“It’s an immense privilege to be in India and see first-hand its dynamic progress in renewable technology,” said Errol Musk. “India’s resolve to build a cleaner, more sustainable future is truly inspiring. I’m excited to support Servotech’s goals and explore opportunities for India to emerge as a global leader in the green energy revolution.”
