Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of the state’s Formation Day. In a post shared on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), the actor-turned-politician reflected on the deep personal and political significance Telangana holds in his life.
Describing Telangana as a land that “rekindled the spirit of movement” within him, Pawan Kalyan noted that the state was instrumental in shaping his political journey. “It is the land that gave birth to the Jana Sena Party, the land that gave me a rebirth, and the land that filled me with the spirit of transformation,” he wrote, quoting famed poet Dasarathi Krishnamacharya’s lines, “My Telangana is the lute of a million gems.”
He lauded the state’s formation as the culmination of decades of struggle, sacrifice, and hope. “Telangana was born out of the aspirations of 3.5 crore people and the sacrifices of countless students and youth,” he said, emphasizing the depth of emotion and resilience behind the region’s statehood movement.
As Telangana completes 11 years since its formation and steps into its 12th year, Kalyan expressed his best wishes for the state’s continued growth. “May Telangana progress in all sectors and fulfill the dreams and aspirations of its people,” he concluded.
