DEECET-25 Results Declared: State Toppers Announced, Counseling Begins June 9
The results of the DEECET-25 entrance exam, held for admissions into the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE) courses for the academic session 2025–2028, were officially released on Thursday.
The online examination, conducted on May 25, saw a total of 48,815 applicants, of whom 33,321 candidates appeared. Impressively, 28,442 candidates qualified—resulting in a pass percentage of 73.18%.
Top Performers Across Mediums
Officials also announced the state-level toppers in each medium:
- Telugu Medium: Tikkapally Haritha topped the list with 77 marks. Out of 15,478 candidates who appeared, 11,288 qualified (72.79%).
- English Medium: Pasunuri Abhinav Reddy secured the top rank with 87 marks. Of the 18,983 candidates who appeared, 14,848 qualified, reflecting a 78.21% pass rate.
- Urdu Medium: Faraz Aahmed emerged as the topper with 67 marks. Out of 1,884 candidates, 530 qualified, marking a 28.14% success rate.
Counseling Schedule Announced
The counseling process for admissions to D.El.Ed and DPSE programs will commence on June 9. Certificate verification will take place at 10 designated DIET colleges across the state from June 9 to 13.
Candidates who clear the verification stage can register their web options from June 14 to 17. There are approximately 4,000 seats available across 50+ DIET colleges in Telangana. Officials have advised qualified candidates to monitor the official portal and adhere to deadlines to secure their admissions.
