Former minister Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy has firmly denied rumors circulating about his health, calling them baseless and deeply distressing. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Kirlampudi, Kakinada district, on Monday, Reddy clarified that he is in good health and condemned the spread of misinformation.
“It is painful that some people are spreading rumours that I am suffering from cancer and that my younger son and his father-in-law are being confined at home without access to treatment,” he said.
The veteran leader expressed disappointment over what he described as malicious propaganda and urged the public and his well-wishers not to fall prey to such fabricated narratives. “I appeal to my supporters not to believe these baseless claims. My health is stable, and there is no truth to the stories being circulated,” he asserted.
Reddy’s statement comes amid a wave of social media speculation, with several posts making unfounded claims about his family and health. His clarification aims to put an end to the rumors and reaffirm public trust.
