The long-awaited teaser of Prabhas’ upcoming pan-India horror-comedy ‘The RajaSaab’ was unveiled in spectacular fashion at a grand launch event held at Prasad’s Multiplex, Hyderabad. With fans, media, and film personalities in attendance, the event offered a gripping first look into what promises to be a bold new cinematic experience.
The teaser introduces viewers to two contrasting avatars of Prabhas – one exuding charm, swagger, and high-octane energy, while the other carries a darker, enigmatic aura, steeped in mystery. The surprise cameo by Sanjay Dutt adds a punch of star power, raising intrigue around his role in this supernatural saga.
Set against the backdrop of India’s largest-ever horror-fantasy film set, the teaser combines folklore, grandeur, and psychological thrills into a visually striking narrative. Composer Thaman S.’s intense background score elevates the tension and drama, effectively setting the tone for this genre-defying film.
Speaking at the event, director Maruthi said,
“‘The RajaSaab’ is not just a film—it’s an emotional journey wrapped in mystery and magic. We wanted to break genre boundaries by blending horror, fantasy, and raw emotion. Launching the teaser in Prabhas’ hometown was symbolic—it felt like bringing the soul of the story to life right where it belongs.” Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory shared his vision for the film, stating,
“Our aim was to build something truly immersive and unmatched in Indian cinema. From the intricate set design to the sweeping storyline, everything has been crafted to transport audiences into this fantastical realm. Releasing the teaser inside the actual haveli brought that world alive—it was an unforgettable moment.”
Joining Prabhas in this high-stakes drama are Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, who play pivotal roles in the mystical narrative.
‘The RajaSaab’, produced by People Media Factory and directed by Maruthi, is set for a nationwide release on December 5, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
