After years of anticipation and production delays, the makers of the much-awaited historical epic ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ have officially announced its global theatrical release for July 24, 2025. The film stars Powerstar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the lead and is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A.M. Jothi Krishna.
Taking to social media platform X, the film’s official handle unveiled the new release date with an impactful message:
“One fights for Power. One fights for Dharma. The clash of legacies begins. Witness the Battle for truth, faith and freedom in cinemas worldwide on July 24, 2025. A Historic Experience Awaits.”
Originally slated to hit screens on June 12, the film’s release was postponed to ensure the final product lives up to the grandeur and expectations surrounding it. In an earlier statement, the producers said:
“Powerstar Pawan Kalyan Garu’s legacy deserves nothing short of cinematic brilliance. Every frame of this magnum opus must reflect that. We ask for just a little more time—the reward will be worth the wait.”
The production team also addressed the wave of rumors circulating on social media, urging fans and media alike to rely solely on official channels for updates.
“There’s a lot of speculation online. We request everyone to disregard unverified information and trust only the official announcements,” the statement emphasized.
‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ has been in the making for over five-and-a-half years and is touted to be one of the most ambitious period films in Telugu cinema. The film features a powerhouse creative team, with Oscar-winner M.M. Keeravani composing the score, Gnana Shekar V.S. and Manoj Paramahamsa handling cinematography, and Praveen K.L. in charge of editing.
Presented by A.M. Rathnam and produced by A. Dayakar Rao under the banner Mega Surya Production, the film promises to be a visual spectacle blending history, heroism, and high drama. With its release date now locked in, the countdown to a truly “historic experience” has officially begun.
