Visakhapatnam Sets Guinness World Record on International Yoga Day, Nara Lokesh Hails Historic Feat
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh announced that the state has set a remarkable global milestone by breaking a world record on International Yoga Day. A staggering 3,00,105 people participated in the mass yoga event held in Visakhapatnam, earning the event recognition from the Guinness World Records.
Taking to social media, Guinness World Records officially acknowledged the feat, praising the massive turnout and the smooth execution of the event. Minister Lokesh lauded the achievement, calling it a moment of pride for Brand Visakhapatnam, and stated that this record-breaking event marks a new chapter in India’s yoga movement.
He extended his heartfelt thanks to TDP leaders, party cadre, and government officials for their coordination and efforts in making the event a resounding success. Lokesh also expressed gratitude to the thousands of citizens who came together in unity and discipline to make history on the global stage.
“This is not just a record; it’s a reflection of Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to health, wellness, and global recognition,” Lokesh said.
