In a remarkable display of courage and expertise, GS Rohini, a female forest beat officer from Kerala, captured a massive 16-foot-long King Cobra—an act that has since gone viral on social media.
The dramatic rescue took place in the Paruthipalli range, where locals had reported spotting the highly venomous snake near a bathing pond. Responding swiftly, Rohini used a snake-catching stick to safely subdue and capture the King Cobra, which she later released into a nearby forest habitat.
