Entrepreneur and philanthropist Upasana Kamineni Konidela, wife of actor Ram Charan, has always embraced her spiritual side with grace. In a recent video shared on her official Instagram handle, she offered a heartfelt glimpse into her faith journey and the personal significance of observing the Sai Baba Vrat.
Flipping through a booklet from Athamma’s Kitchen, Upasana recited shlokas and mantras, and shared a touching anecdote that revealed how spirituality became a source of strength during challenging times. “I think everyone needs to find what they resonate with. For my husband, it’s Ayyappa Swami. For me, it’s Sai Baba,” she explained.
Upasana reflected on her upbringing, highlighting how her grandparents and parents instilled deep spiritual values in her from a young age. This foundation, she said, gave her the inner resilience to face difficult phases in life. Recalling one such phase, she shared,
“I was going through a really tough time. I was a bit shaken up. Someone suggested I try the Sai Baba Vrat. When I started reading the story, things slowly began to change. I became more positive, and so did the people around me.” She added that the practice didn’t just bring peace but also helped her evolve as a person.
“These small changes made me realize I was becoming a better version of myself. That’s why this Vrat holds so much value for me. If you’re stuck at a roadblock or things aren’t going your way, try any form of Vrat. I truly believe that faith heals more than anything else.”
Encouraging her followers to explore spirituality in their own way, Upasana urged them to consider observing fasts and connecting with their inner selves. In the caption accompanying her video, she wrote:
“Connecting with God is a way of connecting with yourself.
This Guru Purnima, I begin the Sai Baba Vrat and invite you all to join this 9-week journey of spirituality and bliss with @athammaskitchen,” ending with a folded hands emoji.
The post resonated deeply with her followers, many of whom praised her for sharing such an intimate aspect of her life and inspiring others to embrace faith and mindfulness.
