Hyderabad Metro Rail Extends Service Hours for IPL Cricket Match

Hyderabad, India: In anticipation of the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) scheduled for Thursday, May 2, the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMRL) has announced an extension of its public transportation service hours.

To accommodate the influx of spectators attending the IPL fixture at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, the Hyderabad Metro Rail will operate until 12:15 am, with the last trains departing from their terminal stations and reaching their destinations by approximately 1:10 am.

During this extended service period, entry will be permitted at designated stations, namely NGRI, Stadium, and Uppal stations. Passengers can avail themselves of exits at all other stations for a smooth journey post-event.

In a statement released by L&T HMRL, commuters are advised to secure round-trip tickets to mitigate station congestion and ensure a hassle-free travel experience.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Seeks Redemption Against Rajasthan Royals in IPL Encounter

Hyderabad, India: As the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) prepare to face the high-flying Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the stakes are high for the former, who are keen to rectify their recent setbacks and reclaim their winning momentum.

Having slipped down the points table following consecutive defeats against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings, SRH finds themselves in fifth place with 10 points, highlighting the urgency for a turnaround in their performance.

Head coach Daniel Vettori acknowledges the team’s struggle in chasing targets, prompting a reassessment of their batting strategy for the latter innings. Despite displaying formidable batting prowess while setting targets, SRH has faltered in pursuit of substantial totals this season.

In contrast, Rajasthan Royals, positioned at the summit of the standings with 16 points, have demonstrated consistent dominance throughout the tournament. With a well-balanced squad boasting a potent batting lineup led by Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and skipper Sanju Samson, complemented by a formidable bowling contingent featuring Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, and Sandeep Sharma, the Royals pose a formidable challenge for their opponents.

As the teams vie for victory in this crucial encounter, spectators can anticipate an enthralling display of cricketing prowess at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson (c), Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Donovan Ferreira, Kunal Rathore, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Sen, Navdeep Saini, Sandeep Sharma, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan, Rovman Powell, Shubham Dubey, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Abid Mushtaq, Nandre Burger, Tanush Kotian, Keshav Maharaj.
