Mythri Movie Makers announced today the forthcoming release of “VD 14,” Vijay Deverakonda’s latest venture, promising an exploration of a culturally rich and tumultuous era through a period action drama. Following the success of “Taxiwala,” Deverakonda joins forces with director Rahul Sankrityan for this ambitious project.
Set against the historical backdrop of the late 19th century, “VD 14” delves into the life of a protagonist spanning from 1854 to 1878, as depicted in the recently unveiled concept poster featuring a stone idol amidst a rustic landscape. Titled “The Legend of the Cursed Land,” the poster hints at a narrative brimming with myths, legends, and the ominous presence of a curse.
Seeking a Pan-India release, the film aims to blend cinematic grandeur with meticulous historical accuracy, immersing audiences in an authentic portrayal of the period.
