Approximately 3.9 million students await the release of their CBSE Class 10 and 12 board results this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) previously indicated that the results would be announced post-May 20; however, an official from the board mentioned to NDTV that the results could be disclosed sooner.
Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director (Skill Education and Training) at CBSE, emphasized that the board is diligently working on result compilation and will announce the results promptly upon completion of the process.
“We cannot provide a definitive date for the result announcement. As previously communicated, the results are expected after May 20, 2024. However, considering our ongoing efforts in result preparation and announcement, the possibility of an earlier release cannot be ruled out,” stated Dr. Saha.
The board examinations for both classes were conducted from February to April, with Class 10 exams held between February 15 and March 13, and Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2.
To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 33 percent in all subjects, comprising internal assessments and board exams.
Once declared, students can access their results via the official CBSE website using their login credentials, including admit card ID, school number, and roll number.
Last year, CBSE announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 12, the second Friday of the month.
