Hyderabad: Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections scheduled for Monday in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has made special arrangements to facilitate commuters, particularly Andhra Pradesh natives residing in Telangana.
The TSRTC has announced the deployment of 590 special buses to cater to the transportation needs of Andhra Pradesh-bound travelers, with an additional 140 buses allocated specifically for the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route. These buses offer advance reservation options online, providing over 3,000 seats to ensure convenient transportation for voters.
In an official statement, the TSRTC encourages passengers intending to travel towards Vijayawada to utilize these special services, with reservations accessible through the website http://tsrtconline.in.
Furthermore, TSRTC has revealed plans to operate nearly 1,500 special buses from Hyderabad to various districts within the state. These buses will originate from key terminals such as JBS, MGBS, Uppal, LB Nagar, and Arangar. Management directives have been issued to field-level officials to ensure the availability of buses in accordance with passenger demand.
As the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections unfolds in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Monday, the electorate will also participate in voting for the next state government in Andhra Pradesh.
