Actress Pavithra Jayaram, renowned for her portrayal of Thilottama in the acclaimed Telugu television series ‘Trinayani,’ tragically passed away in a road accident in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar district.
Jayaram met with the accident on her journey from Bengaluru to Hyderabad and succumbed to her injuries at the scene, confirmed local authorities. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district, involved her car veering out of control and colliding with a divider before being struck by a bus.
While Jayaram lost her life in the accident, her cousin and driver sustained severe injuries, as per initial reports.
Actor Sameeip Acharyaa expressed his grief over Jayaram’s untimely demise, reminiscing about their professional collaboration and the bond they shared.
Beginning her acting career with the Kannada TV series ‘Jokali,’ Jayaram made her mark in the Telugu television industry with her debut in ‘Ninne Pelladatha’ in 2018. However, it was her portrayal in ‘Trinayani’ that earned her widespread recognition and adoration across households.
Recognized for her versatile performances, Jayaram garnered admiration not only in Telugu but also in Kannada television. Her sudden passing has deeply saddened the entertainment fraternity, leaving colleagues and fans mourning her loss.
