Tragic Incident Involving TV Actor Chandrakanth
TV actor Chandrakanth, known as Chandu and lead actor in serials such as ‘Trinayani’ alongside the late actress Pavitra Jayaram, has tragically taken his own life in Pavitra’s former residence. Following the incident, speculation arose regarding their reported relationship, but recent revelations shed light on a different narrative.
It has been disclosed that both Pavitra and Chandu were previously married to other individuals, with Pavitra having two sons from her marriage, and Chandu having an 8-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son with his wife, Shilpa. In a media statement, Shilpa shared that she and Chandu courted for 11 years before marrying, and she supported his career transition into TV serials, which eventually led to his involvement with Pavitra, significantly impacting their lives.
“I never imagined he would involve himself with someone else, as I believed I was his world. His affair with Pavitra caused a rift between us, and he grew distant, even showing aversion towards me,” expressed Shilpa emotionally. Despite Chandu’s visits after Pavitra’s passing, communication between them had ceased for four years. Shilpa, tearfully reflecting on their situation, lamented how Chandu’s actions have forever affected their children.
