Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Interact with 25,000 Women at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Ground

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to engage with 25,000 women at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit University ground on Tuesday. Additionally, he will address an election rally in Prayagraj.

Navaratan Rathi, BJP spokesperson for the Kashi region, announced, “There are 1,909 booths in the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, and 10 women from each booth have been invited for the interaction with Prime Minister Modi. All arrangements for the event have been finalized.”

Rathi noted that professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, professors, chartered accountants, and teachers have also been invited to participate, with the program commencing at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Archana Mishra, BJP state unit secretary and Mahila Morcha in-charge, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Our active participation in the Kashi roadshow on May 13 delighted the Prime Minister, prompting his return to share his joy with us.”

She mentioned that BJP’s women wing members have conducted door-to-door visits in Varanasi to extend invitations for the Tuesday event.

Ashwini Tyagi, Lok Sabha coordinator and MLC, highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives for women’s empowerment during his tenure. “It is under his leadership that the Nari Shakti Vandan Act facilitated 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies,” Tyagi remarked.

Following the event, Prime Minister Modi will stay overnight at the BLW guest house in Varanasi. On Wednesday, he will address a gathering at the Government Polytechnic Ground, as confirmed by Basti Superintendent of Police, Gopal Krishna Chowdhury.

Chowdhury added that security preparations, including a no-fly zone for drones or balloons from May 20 to May 22, have been implemented around the rally venues. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Anupriya Patel are also scheduled to join Prime Minister Modi on stage.
