Cannes: The team behind the film ‘Kannappa’ made a notable appearance at the ongoing 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
Director and choreographer Prabhudeva, producer Mohan Babu, and actor Vishnu Manchu graced the iconic red carpet before attending the premiere of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’. Vishnu was accompanied by his wife, Viranica.
Vishnu shared several photos and videos on his Instagram, showcasing the team dressed elegantly in black attire.
The official ‘Kannappa’ movie page also released a clip featuring the team’s red carpet appearance.
The clip was captioned, “The premiere of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ was graced by @themohanbabu @iVishnuManchu, accompanied by his wife @vinimanchu, & @PDdancing #VishnuManchu is at #Cannes2024 to unveil the teaser of #Kannappa, scheduled for this evening at the Olympia theatre.”
The Cannes Film Festival, renowned globally and held annually in Cannes, France, attracts filmmakers and stars from around the world.
The ‘Kannappa’ team is at Cannes to launch the teaser of their upcoming film.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced under Manchu’s banners AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, ‘Kannappa’ features a star-studded cast including Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi. The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English.
Special appearances in the film are made by Prabhas and Akshay Kumar.
The 77th edition of Cannes commenced on May 14 and will continue until May 25.
Recently, Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, hosted the inaugural Bharat Parva. This event celebrated India’s rich culture, cuisine, handicrafts, and cinema at the French Riviera.
Organized by NFDC in collaboration with FICCI under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event was a resounding success. Over 250 delegates from Cannes were enthralled by exceptional performances and a delightful fusion cuisine.
The evening also witnessed the unveiling of posters for the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and a save-the-date poster for the inaugural World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES).
