Andhra Pradesh’s electoral verdict will be revealed on June 4th, with preliminary insights expected as exit polls are released shortly after 6 PM today. In the context of the Kadapa parliamentary elections, a concerning report has emerged for the YSR Congress camp.
Local rumors in the Kadapa parliamentary segment suggest that YS Avinash is allegedly conspiring against Jagan Mohan Reddy. These rumors claim that Avinash, uncertain of his victory in the MP elections, attempted to strike a deal with TDP leaders.
Reportedly, Avinash proposed a quid pro quo to TDP leaders in Kadapa, asking them to ensure votes for him in the MP election in 25 centers. In return, he promised to direct YCP votes to support the TDP MLA candidate. Essentially, Avinash sought TDP votes for himself while offering YCP votes for TDP candidates in exchange. This alleged deal was reportedly rejected by TDP Pulivendula candidate B. Tech Ravi.
If these rumors hold any truth, Avinash’s plan, if successful, would have redirected votes intended for Jagan to the TDP, undermining Jagan’s position.
These claims have been circulated by leading Telugu media, though there is speculation that local TDP leaders might be spreading these rumors to discredit Avinash and Jagan Reddy.
