Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MoHRSD) has announced a four-day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors to celebrate Eid Al-Adha 1445 AH-2024.
According to the ministry’s statement, employees in the private sector will observe holidays from Saturday, June 15, to Tuesday, June 18.
The announcement follows the sighting of the crescent Moon on Thursday, June 6, confirming the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah on Friday, June 7. As a result, Hajj 1445 AH-2024 will commence on Friday, June 14, with the day of Arafah falling on Saturday, June 15, and Eid Al-Adha on Sunday, June 16.
