The release date for Pushpa 2: The Rule has been confirmed. Originally slated for August 15, the film will now premiere on December 6, 2024.
While there was no official announcement regarding the postponement, Allu Arjun and the official Pushpa 2 social media accounts disclosed the new release date directly.
Earlier predictions suggested December 6 and December 20 as the best potential dates for the release. The filmmakers have opted for the first weekend of December, with overseas premieres on December 5.
The release date poster features Allu Arjun in a serious pose, wearing a blazer and head scarf while holding a large sword. By confirming the December 6 release, the filmmakers have avoided the crowded Christmas weekend, ensuring Pushpa 2 has a solo release.
The first installment, Pushpa: The Rise, debuted in December 2021. It remains to be seen how much impact the second part will make.
