The highly anticipated Telugu film Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, has encountered an unexpected delay in its release. Initially slated for August 15, 2024, the film will now premiere on December 6, 2024. Despite this change, the producer, Mythri Movie Makers, intends to maintain their presence in the August 15th slot.
Following the postponement of Pushpa 2, other films have quickly taken advantage of the vacant release date. Ram Pothineni’s new movie Double Ismart is set for release on August 15, 2024, and several other films are expected to follow suit.
However, Mythri Movie Makers plans to release a small-budget film on August 15, 2024, leveraging their strong distribution network. This strategy aims to maintain momentum leading up to the new December release date of Pushpa 2.
Currently, Mythri Movie Makers has 2-3 small-budget projects nearing completion. They will finalize which film to release on August 15th after reviewing the final copies in the first week of July.
