The highly anticipated political action thriller “Game Changer,” directed by the renowned Shankar and starring Ram Charan, is finally approaching its release after four years in production. The film, which has generated immense buzz, is now in its final stages.
Ram Charan recently announced the completion of his part in the film by sharing a striking photo on Instagram of himself boarding a helicopter, captioned, “Game for change… Game Changer… done. See you in the theaters.” This post has only heightened the excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the film’s release.
Director Shankar, busy with the promotions of “Bharateeyudu 2” (Indian 2), also provided an update on “Game Changer.” Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, he confirmed that Ram Charan’s portions have been wrapped up, with only 15 days of shooting left for the remaining characters. He assured that the editing is underway and a release date will be announced soon.
Addressing concerns about juggling two major projects simultaneously, Shankar emphasized that there were no compromises in quality. “Even while working on ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ and ‘Game Changer’ concurrently, the dedication and effort remained uncompromised. The unit worked tirelessly, ensuring every scene, shot division, props, artists, costumes, and locations were meticulously prepared to avoid any delays.”
The production of “Game Changer” faced delays due to Shankar’s commitments to other projects and the logistical challenges of coordinating a large ensemble cast. Despite these hurdles, the film is expected to be ready by the next Sankranthi festival, with a possibility of an earlier release this year.
Produced by Dil Raju, “Game Changer” boasts a powerful soundtrack by Thaman. The film features Kiara Advani as the leading lady, with notable performances from Anjali, SJ Surya, Srikanth, Sunil, and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles.
As “Game Changer” moves closer to its theatrical debut, fans can anticipate a riveting cinematic experience that promises to live up to the immense hype.
