TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu Condemns Srinivas Goud’s Remarks, Vows Action
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu has strongly condemned the recent remarks made by former Telangana minister and BRS leader Srinivas Goud, accusing them of tarnishing the reputation of the sacred institution. During a meeting of the newly formed TTD governing council, Naidu announced that action would be taken against Goud, asserting that the TTD has a zero-tolerance policy for anyone attempting to undermine the sanctity of the Tirumala temple.
Srinivas Goud, after visiting the Tirumala temple, criticized the TTD, alleging discrimination against Telangana citizens and elected representatives. He claimed that the TTD’s actions were biased, with Andhra natives dominating official and business positions despite the formation of Telangana. Goud further suggested that if such discrimination continued, it could lead to difficulties for Andhra residents in Telangana in the future.
Naidu responded firmly, stating that such political comments would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the sanctity of Tirumala and announced that the TTD would take appropriate action to ensure that its reputation and sacredness remain untarnished.
